Description
This shot is from a week long caravan-road trip around around Finnish Lapland and northern Norway with ~y4zu in the summer.
The night was falling and we were starting to think about a place to park our motorhome for the night when we barely spotted this fisherman' hut along the shoreline and decided to make an U-turn and run for it since the sun was already setting. I managed to try a few different compositions while
waiting all the way untill the sun was just about to disappear behind the mountains when this amazing color cast filled the landscape. The light really made the shot for me and I'm really happy with the result. Using ~y4zu as my assistant, he fired an external flash outside the frame to light up the fisherman's hut.
I also lost my expensive CPL there and we had to come back the next day to find it. I almost didn't find it at first from the thick fields and after almost giving up and returning to the car I decided to make one more try for it. Luckily after one more sweep I found it, undamaged
